The activities of the people
at Genova For Yachting

Genova For Yachting works to promote and develop the yachting sector in Genoa, collaborating with institutions, companies, and industry professionals. Its activities are carried out thanks to the commitment of volunteer members, who actively participate in working groups across various strategic areas.

Thanks to the valuable operational contribution of its members, Genova For Yachting has set up several working groups dedicated to the creation and development of activities of common interest.

Education

The Training group is particularly active and collaborates with schools, training organisations and institutions to facilitate meetings between young job seekers and member companies. Among the notable initiatives:

  • Job Click for Yachting: a platform dedicated to matching job seekers with employers, where candidates can learn about companies, view open positions and submit their CVs directly.
  • Career Days: two days dedicated to professional integration, one aimed at university graduates and one at technical and operational professionals, organised in collaboration with Blue Skills Village.

Events

The Events group promotes the Genoa cluster by participating in major national and international trade fairs and events in the sector.

The goal is to represent local excellence and promote the range of services, helping to attract superyachts to the area.

Networking

The Networking group was created to encourage collaboration and mutual understanding among member companies.

Organise operational meetings and social events with the aim of strengthening relationships between members and promoting new business opportunities.

Institutional Relations and Genoa 2030

Composed mainly of members of the Executive Committee, this group is responsible for managing dialogue with organisations and institutions.

The aim is to represent the nautical sector in decision-making processes concerning major urban transformation projects, particularly in port areas.

Environment and Sustainability

The group is dedicated to monitoring the situation of member companies with regard to ESG (environmental, social and governance) issues, providing support to those interested in embarking on a path of sustainability and environmental responsibility.

Communications

This group is responsible for disseminating news, updates and association initiatives through official communication channels.

It also manages relations with the press and develops campaigns to support the cluster’s activities, including the promotion of sector studies.
